The best time to apply for participation in the gernation contract is after passing the admission exam at the university. But there is no fixed deadline. Consultations can be scheduled at any time. It is sufficient to contact us right when you begin your program.

If you drop out of university, the amount received will be converted into a classic loan.
The repayment begins after graduation and successful career entry, provided that the annual gross income exceeds the minimum income of €30000. As soon as the income is below this minimum, no payment has to be made in the corresponding calendar year. This rule applies throughout the lifetime of the contract.
Income-dependent repayments last for 10 repayment years. If your income falls below the minimum income, repayments for that year will be postponed. After 20 calendar years, all remaining payments are waived even if fewer than 10 annual repayments have been submitted. You can find an example for the repayment here.
